Hello,

I have just tried for the first time to make my Galaxy A40 recognized using Wifi.. Impossible .. because error message "the connection with the phone could not be established: connection to 192.168.0.13 failed!"

Before that, in the connection window, the phone was
found (SMA405FM) and detected on 192.168.0.13..

Surely a setting to be done on the A40 ...
but after 1 day of research, I have not yet found!..

I just found it!!
USB debugging mode had not been enabled yet!
Now it's done, and it works!

I'd like to believe you, but then please deactivate USB debugging again.
If a connection via the WiFi is not possible again, you would be right Wink

Good one! That is why I prefer the 'good old fashioned' and perfectly working USB. Sitting besides the computer anyways when doing the backups, etc. So why not plugging it in?!?! Just my opinion Cool
