Cant connect via USB cable

Hey all.
From yesterday i use MPE. I was glad to donate for this good app.
I have some issues.
One major is that i cant connect my phone (Motorola G72)
via USB cable.
I see an error "Fail to connect : No one USB device connected".

G72 has USB-C plug. I tried with 2 cables USB A and USB C.
Both failed.
Also i tried all possible options to my phone for the USB :
1) Transfer files
2) Connect via USB
3) MIDI
4) PTP
5) without transfer files

I m wondering if its a bug or i m doing something wrong.

FIXED.
How i fix it. The phone is a Motorola G72 with Android 13 :

1) I enabled developer mode
2) I enabled USB debug mode
3) To the phone i selected the mode "without transfer files".

I test a file copy from the phone to PC and works OK.
