sorry if this has already been asked..
I am confused between Samsung calendar and my calendar
If I use my calendar I think there is no backup. does mpe have a good backup
should i use Samsung calendar so that there is a backup
I used to use Google but it is hopeless as you cant search on the phone for dates beyond 2010 |

Our program does not support automatic backup.
If you synchronize regularly you have the data
1.In MPE
2. In Outlook
3. There is also the option to create an additional MPE backup.
If you use an online account such as Samsung or Google, you should, as already described, not synchronize your tablet with MPE and the online account! |

Yes, correct!
But then you shouldn't synchronize the tablet with MPE, otherwise there will be duplicates again.

in MPE client there is a section manage local calendars and mine only has My Calendar?? |

Any number of local calendars, with individual names and colors, can be created using this menu item.
To use multiple calendar memories see => Allocation of multiple calendars |

I am still a little confused.
All I want to sync is outlook to samsung calendar on my phone.
How to add samsung in the client instead of my calendar please
Also tried selecting samsung calendars and ran a test to sync my phone with notepad not mpe, could not get it to sync, what am I missing |

In my opinion Samsung only offers 2 calendars:
1. My Calendar (Local Calendar)
2. Samsung Account (Online calendar)
But I still don't know what you mean and what exactly you intend? |

I think I figured it out.
I wanted to make sure I have a backup therefore using my calendar
I have created a backed in myphone explorer, just need to understand if I need to restore how it is done. |
