First Sync

Hello,

I am trying to do my first contact sync between my W880i and Thunderbird. The problem is that I have contacts that:
- appear in Thunderbird with an email address and no phone number
- appear in my W880i with a phone number and no email address

When I do the sync, MPE allows to use one of the two entries but I would like to be able to merge the two entries as there is no real conflict, each entry containing different data. If I choose Thunderbird as source I loose the phone number and if I choose W880i as source I loose the mail address.

Can this be solved?

A merging of data is not planned. Copy your Contacts in Thunderbird to a new folder, force then the sync to Thunderbird and then you can fix the emails manually.

Ok thanks. Anyway I handled this using Microsoft Excel and one export from Thunderbird and one from MPE. Using some formulas I was able to get the phone numbers into the Thunderbird sheet and then reimport in Thunderbird.
