MPE crashed and I could not get around to making backups of my messages. So I did something stupid and uninstalled MPE. Is there any way I could recover my messages? thankyou.
While uninstalling you are asked if you want to keep the old datafiles. If you did this then the data are still present after reinstall. If not then the chances are very bad.

i remember choosing the option to keep the old datafiles. however, my computer is acting up again, so i want to install MPE on another computer. can this be done and still recover my old messages? (what is the filename that holds the old datafiles?) thankyou.
Go to Start-Run-%appdata%-OK
If you see then a folder called MyPhoneExplorer in your Explorer then everything is OK and you can copy this folder to the other PC.
