K750i with MyPhoneExplorer ver 1.4.4

Hi, I encounter couple of error while using the software, wonder anyone could help.

1. Deleting SMS using MyPhoneExplorer

After select Yes when it ask whether i would like to delete the sms from the phone ("Delete messages from phone ?"), it prompt the error
"The SMS-Storage could not be set in the phone".


2. Display of chinese name in the address book.

I have a mix of names in both english and chinese (simplify) in my phonebook. The chinese name are not shown in MyPhoneExplorer. Although chinese SMS could be display in MyPhoneExplorer.


3. Synchorize of Phone contactlist.

While trying to synchronize the phone contactlist using MyPhoneExploreor, The system prompt the following error :
"Obex protocol could not be initialized" "Obex error:"


Appreciate any help anyone could offer.

1. after is select connection "COM14 K750 USB-Port" instead of "COM15 K750 USB-Port", I am able to resolve the error on deleting of sms.

2. Phone contact sync error still occur, with the following error message
"Obex protocol could not be initialized" "Obex errorcoe: 10-unhandled error"

Please try the Baudrate 921600 - if it still doesnt work try the option "Stable connection"

Furthermore, MPE could not able to display the content of FileManager.

No, MPE is the first software i am trying to connect to K750. I have no problem with "Sony Erricsson File Manager".

Try to locate "K700 Dataimanager", but could not able to download it.

have try using FMA (FloAt's Mobile Agent), i am able to list my folders and phone contact list without problem. But that software could not display chinese sms.

Found what setting that cause the error:

In my machine's Regional & Language Panel Advance tab, it was set to Chinese (PRC) for the language of non-unicode programs.

How does this effect MPE ? any workaround as i need it for other chinese entry software
