Are you really sure that the file C:\Windows\system32\StikyNot.exe exists on your PC ?

of course, I use it almost everyday. And just to be 100% sure I have just made a copy/paste of this "C:\Windows\system32\StikyNot.exe" in the windows start menu and it has ran sticky notes right away! So it's really there and with the path you have provided!

If you want, i can give you my skype or msn ID so you can ask me things in realtime and i would be able to send you some screen captures for better understanding, as you wish.

I really thing it's an issue with the 64 bits version of W7 only. Maybe MPE can not run/open/use stickynotes on its own ? I have tried to run it before launching MPE, and also after, or even not running it at all, and that's the same in all 3 cases, it doesn't appear in the sync menu in the Notes dropdown menu!!

I have also checked in the windows event viewer the logs (application, system and security) and nothing special appears there regarding MPE.

So let me know if you want me to test/check other things that might help you solve this problem.

if you want to make other tests just let me know, (i think you might need to keep the file exist check for the general users to avoid any error due to missing or different file path).

oh oh, here comes another strange thing, when i synchronize in both ways, all sticky notes on the computer are copied to the phone (no problem here), but the phones notes are not copied to the computer sticky notes ! I also tried in only one way (phone to sticky notes only) and same result, the notes won't copy to the computer. Any ideas ? or am i doing something wrong ?

- is MPE able to add new notes to sticky-notes
- is MPE able to delete notes in Sticky-Notes
- is MPE able to edit notes in Sticky-Notes
...

I still do not understand why thy filecheck does not work - i cannot remove it so i have to fix it. Would it be possible that C:\WINDOWS\system32 is only a virtual directory and its a hidden folder with another path ?

Run StickyNotes and take a look at the Taskmanager. You can change the columns so that also the executable-path is shown there.

If MPE wants to add a new note - do you see at least a new blank note on the desktop or does happen nothing ?

nothing happens, the strange thing is that the new note is displayed in the recap windows just before pressing the sync button, so it sees it, but is not able to create it while sync'ing, strange...

EDIT: Another important question: Is MyPhoneExplorer also able to read the Notes in Sticky-Notes if StickyNot.exe is NOT started while sync ?

Did you try starting MPE in Administrator mode? (Run as Administrator)

My guess would be that file protection is blocking something.

Or, StickyNotes is a 64bit application on x64 systems and this is giving problems?

I also cant' synchronize with sticky notes on 1.7.5.
