Hi,
Every entry prior to 2nd August 2012 has disappeared from my calendar. This is tragic for me as I use the MPE calendar as a record of my past activities as well as a reminder for future appointments! Two questions:
1) Is there any way to get these lost entries back?
2) Is there a setting somewhere I need to use to prevent this happening in future?
I'm using the latest version of MPE on Windows 7 laptop, synced with the MPE App on a Samsung S2 Android smartphone.
Everything else about MPE works PERFECTLY for me. Just to suddenly discover this issue is a shock.
Can anyone offer any help?
Thanks and regards

I hope your loss did occur during a sync, because if your answer to that is 'yes', then the deletions will show in the log, and FJ says whatever appears in the log may be imported back into the MPE database, without manual re-entry.RonCam hat geschrieben:Have you looked at your sync log, to show what happened at the time of your catastrophe? If if was sync-related and there was a mass-deletion from your phone, you may be able to see what was removed from the PC's cache.
I hope this is correct, as I only came across MPE two weeks ago -- so please follow the link and see if you think I'm interpreting that post properly. Or, you may want to wait for a moderator to join this thread, since your problem is so serious.

@bikerman: If you synced your calendar with Outlook then there was maybe the sync time range activated. In this case MyPhoneExplorer will delete entrys outside the sync time range but only - and this is the important detail - if there is a matching entry of this event in Outlook.
If you did NOT sync with Outlook then i don't think the issue is related to MyPhoneExplorer. MyPhoneExplorer will be delete only entries which you did mark for deletion in the software. On sync problems he does download the whole content from phone to PC but he never does automatically delete the entries on the phone. Maybe the missing entries were located in the Google Calendar and the sync with Google is the cause for your problem.
By the way: In the settings of MyPhoneExplorer Client you are able to create and manage local calendars to minimize the side effects with other sync routines on the phone.
