MPE 1.8.8 not updating contacts in Outlook

A change to a contact on my phone gets reflected into MPE on my computer when synchronising, but entry in Outlook is not updated. On next sync, the disparity between phone and Outlook is once again identified by MPE but the entry in Outlook is still not updated. Rolled back to 1.8.7 and all works perfectly.

Yes, exactly the same problem happens to me. There is something wrong in version 1.8.8. I've reinstalled back 1.8.7 and it works now well.

I'm a newbe on this forum but have been using the software for a real long time [maybe 5 years]. Everything worked just as it should until I bought a Samsung Gal 6 a year ago and tried to sync it with WIn 10 on my laptop. Always sync so any changes to either laptop or phone would be chaned in the other device. And I never had a problem with doubles on either phone or laptop. Now I have up to 4 entries of one person on one device but not the other. Sometimes both. And it will leave people off the laptop or the phone or delete the name completely from both.

This morning was going to update to 8.8 but the laptop has a message that I can't sync because of a run time error '0' and run time error 372 and failed to load 'phone book form'.

I am still running on 8.7 version of software.
I love this program but this problem is getting really old....any help or suggestions would be welcomed.
