Problems with synchronization after version 1.8.8

Good morning, if I insert new contacts from the phone, they do not sync in the pc. If I insert them from the PC, they synchronize in the phone. I have my Google account synced.

Since upgrading Outlook to v 2016 new contact entries from the phone are being selected by MPE for deletion, not addition to Outlook. I manually override the selection since I noticed but initially lost some new contacts.
MPE is v 1.8.8 but I think it is some time since that was updated so my problem seems to be with Outlook 2016.
Initial sync with Outlook 2016, MPE wanted to delete a huge number of contacts so I cancelled the sync. Since then it has just been new numbers in the phone that want to delete.
Any help for this issue. I have been using MPE for many years and many phones and love the program. Help would be appreciated. Thank you Rhonda
