Call log delete does with sync to phone

I am running My Phone Explorer 1.8.12 and an on my phone Android Pie (9.0).
When I delete phone calls from My Phone Explorer and then sync wit the phone then all the deleted calls re-appear.
It was the same with 1.8.11 but if I recall worked fine on earlier releases of Android.
Any suggestions??

You gave the answer yourself. This comes with the latest Android.
So either live with it or stick to an old version of the MPE.

So I'm not clear: does this bug "come with ... Android" or does it come from a non-"old version of MPE"?

Self-resurrecting call logs are a new problem.
Dropping back to MPE 1.8.11 with Android 6 did not fix it.
Changing Android is not realistic.
Would an earlier APK help?

This is no bug and it came with Android.
An old version of the MPE can be used as an workaroud but that´s it.
