Hi,
First, many thanks to the persons who have made this wonderfull application.
Second, I have an issue about the SMS backup.
Hence, I have updated MyPhoneExplorer from v1.8.12 to v1.8.14,
and, after a backup of MMS (from the phone), I losted all the previous stored SMS in the backup (around 40k SMS).
Only the backuped MMS are visible.
However, the "SMSarchive.dat" file is always "huge" : 8Mbytes.
When I read the file, I can see all the old conversation from the backuped SMS.
Perhaps, it is a bug of interpretation of the previous backup by the new version of MPE ?
Anyone has already see this issue ?
For programmers, does it exist an application that extracts the data of a dat file from MPE ?
I cross fingers to find a solution ...
thank you for all by advance

Re: lost sms archive after an update with the 1.8.14 version
I think, that this is bug in newest version,
always when I am trying move conversations to archive, then program crashed.
I have Archive empty too and huge SMSarchive.dat file
Strange is, that some messages today was transfered to Archive, but only 2 newest received and moved today

regards
Jaro

Dear Jaro,
thank you for your reply.
For your information, I have re-installed the 1.8.12 and I put the SMSarchive.dat in the directory C:\Users\"the user"\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\"phone name"
I was able to read all the older backuped SMS
I hope that an update can correct this bug
best regards

I'm also having issues with SMS after upgrading to 1.8.14 (from 1.8.12)
During the sync, when SMS messages are being synced, I get various amounts of data transfer and then I get an error: "OBEX Errorcode: 00 - Phone didn't answer, Timeout" and after I click OK, it closes without sync.
After several attempts, I reinstalled 1.8.12 and conversations syncs are working again.
My setup:
- Windows 10 1909
- Android 9
- Microsoft Outlook 2010 14.0.7257.5000

small progress to acess again the archived sms
Hello,
in the directory C:\Users\"the user"\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\"phone name"
the file "settings.dat" contains a parameter : SupportSMS=1 in the 1.8.14
if you go back to the 1.8.12 to retrieve the archived SMS, you should put 0 to this parameter to see again the archived SMS.
Obviously, you cannot manage the MMS
