Can I sync to a Tablet?

We have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A
I'd like to sync to Outlook 2013. I know it can't do phone stuff (calls, SMS, etc) but I'd like to sync Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes and Files).
I've tried to set it up but MPE says it can't find the Tab A. I've tried WiFi, Bluetooth and USB cord. I did set up USB debugging for the USB attempt.
Is this possible?

So is MPE installed on the tablet? Silly question I know ....
Can you see the tablet (wifi) from another device on the same network? That is, if you have a PC can you 'ping' the tablet from it? If not then maybe there is a firewall/router issue.

Yes, MPE is installed on the tablet AND I launched it on the tablet as opposed to letting the desktop app launch it.

The tablet and laptop are in the same room as the router less the 12 feet apart.

In case it matters, this laptop is already set up with MPE to sync to a Galaxy Note 4 phone and that works correctly. I'm trying to ADD the Tablet so we can sync with it as well.

Just wondering if there's anything new with MPE that I haven't noticed.
Still hoping to sync a Samsung Galaxy TAB A (non-SIM version).
Thinking of files, photos, calendar, tasks, etc. I know messages wouldn't be included.

You have tried using the 'Add User' option ?

What error message are you seeing exactly ?
