Yesterday my PC crashed while MPE was open. Today when I open MPE on the PC, there are no contacts, no call logs, and no entries in the calendar. Only the messages remain. Syncing with the phone does not restore these items.
This has happened before and I've been able to restore things by closing MPE, deleting some files in appdata (in Roaming, I think), then starting MPE and syncing. But I can't remember exactly what I did before, and nothing I try today restores the missing info. I tried downloading and reinstalling MPE 1.9.0 but that did not help.
Please advise.

Exactly the same thing happened again today. I've tried deleting organizer.dat and restarting MPE but no joy.
This is the third time I've asked for support on this issue and I've had no response at all. Not a happy camper.

So it appears the solution is to close MPE, delete ALL the *.dat files in the folder
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\<phone name>
and then restart MPE and synchronize to phone. |

You have to decide on which one contact account you want to save your contactst
You should only activate this one contact account under Phone => MPE-Client => Settings => contact-accounts to sync.
In your contacts app, you must also only activate this one contact account to view it
The same goes for your appointments... |
