Duplicates when synching Android phone with Outlook

Hello,

I have a Samsung S22+ (Android version 14) and a Windows 10 Laptop running MS Office Professional Plus 2021 (Outlook). I am using MyPhone Explorer v2.1 on the laptop and Client v3.14 on the phone.

I occassionally run bi-directional synchs of my Calendar and Contacts, but for some unknown reason, entries in my Phone Contacts are duplicated, but in Outlook they are not. I see the following:

Phone entries:

Hotel Cresta Court (Full contact details)
Hotel Cresta Court (No details, but shows Revolut "R" symbol in the body)

Laptop entries:
Hotel Cresta Court (Full contact details)

"MyPhone Explorer/Settings/Contact-accounts to synch" on the phone has Phone checkbox checked, and all other accounts (including Revolut) unchecked.

I have 1000+ actual contacts in Outlook but almost double that on the phone. When I delete the duplicate entries and re-synch, they re-appear in the phone.

I assume that these are contacts from messengers such as: WhatsApp acts, they get the contacts automatically and you can't influence that.
In your contacts app, select the left options button on the left (3 lines) and instead of “All contacts” just “Phone”

I use the default Android contacts app, and I found that Revolut was also enabled as an account under Settings/Manage Contacts/Synch Contacts.

I have turned this off, removed a few duplicates from my phone Contacts, re-synched and it seems to have worked. No new duplicates were created.
