Restoring Backup From One Phone to Another

Hi,

I checked the FAQ, I didn't see anything like this.
I have 2 Android 14 phones. They are Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and Motorola Razr+ (2023). The Razr+ is primarily a backup phone (I got it basically for free). I occasionally like to switch phones because the Razr+ is lighter and more compact. The question is, how can I backup one phone and restore it to the other phone? I have set the phone name, in settings, to the same name. But, Myphoneexplorer(currently using desktop 2.2 and client 4.2), still identifies each phone by it's model number and won't restore because the model numbers don't match. I tried changing the name of the backup file to match the phone being restored, but no luck. I used to do this years ago and basically had one Myphoneexplorer profile for two different phones.
Please advise.

Sorry but a profile for 2 Android devices never worked with MPE.
This means that 2 devices always require 2 users.
However, you can have the data (contacts, appointments and notes) transferred using the internal sync database.
Look MPE => F2 => Sync => Contacts/Sync with => Internal Sync-Database
