I deleted a text conversation on my phone, and the conversation is still on MPE. I have NOT synced the phone with MPE for a week. So I want to restore the conversation back to my phone. I'm not sure how to do this. But I saw something like this below* not sure how this will work 
My instinct is to Export the conversation and save it as a .vmsg on computer, then sync messages with phone. MPE will delete the conversation on MPE, since it synced with phone (missing the conversation)
Then import the .vmsg
But I still don't understand how to do this in actual practice.

*- create a backup of your phone (Menu-Extras-Create backup)
- switch to the new phone in MyPhoneExplorer and then select in contacts and SMS archive rightclick->Import/Export->Import... and choose the backupfile |

I have also deleted a conversation but have a copy in Archive, if your solution will restore my conversation would you please send me an email too or advise how I can restore the conversation as I have spent about 2 days trying unsuccessfully.

Thank you for your assistance, I did what you suggested this morning and everything appears to be working and the conversation I deleted has been restored.
Is there any reason to update the phone client or am I better to stop it updating?

Some functions are then not supported, e.g. The series function of the tasks.
The best thing is to find out yourself  |
