Stand alone MPE Notes

Is it possible to use notes as a stand alone program?

Of course you can, because like with any other program, you are free not to use all of its functions.
However, as mentioned elsewhere in the forum, a partial installation is not possible, because (on the phone) all functions are covered by one single app although it shows more than one icon.

Thank you for the prompt response. So, I am assuming that if I use all the functions of the program, the is no way to just launch just the notes as sort of a standalone app or window. (No mpe.com /n syntax) That being the case, can I open a second instance of MPE and use one to open to the notes window by default? The issue is how long MPE takes to connect to my phone to sync, compared to using Google Keep, etc.

Regarding the PC program, you can select the notes page as the default / initial view.
However, all other functions are also available through the menu.
If you like to synchrononize the notes only, use the sync function on the notes page, so not use Multi-Sync.
It is not possible to launch multiple instances of MPE as that could lead to errors if multiple instances of the program use a common data set.

Regarding the phone app, you can use the notes module like a normal app, ignoring (not using) the other MPE modules ... except if you want to synchronize data (notes) between mobile and PC, then you need to use the main module of the app.

Maybe you should consider to just trying this. If it is not working as expected, place your questions here. Or uninstall, if your requirements are not met.
