Samsung Galaxy S10E
Syncing with traditional Outlook was never an issue.
Trying to sync phone with new Outlook (contacts and calendar).
MPE goes through the sync process - everything looks Ok but neither the contacts or calendar events show up in the new Outlook.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why don't you switch back to the traditional Outlook? |

Thanks for the reply.
I would love to switch back to traditional Outlook but it stopped working.
It's asking for an "Upgrade Outlook Connector". Screen is frozen there.
I have no idea what that is - or how to fix it |

Probably your local Outlook (new) application is not linked to the same Microsoft Account you synced.
Please open Outlook in your browser and log in like you did in MyPhoneExplorer: https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/
If you see the data there then you have to change the user login in Outlook (new) on your PC so that Outlook (new) connects to the same account as MyPhoneExplorer. |

Thank you for the prompt reply and advice.
I guess I'm not that savy - I still can't make it work.
At one point I found my contacts and tasks under a strange Outlook account (outlook_780A920D658DC7CB@outlook.com) but I can not get back to that point. and I can not get it to roll into my Outlook.
I'm using the same acct and password to sign in at the advanced tab under sync settings but nothing and it shows the sync happening but nothing shows up under my Outlook.
Thanks again for trying to help me - I really appreciate the effort.

I had already another user with exact the same problem. I think it happens if you run Outlook (new) first without being logged in with Microsoft ID on your PC. We were able to fix it by adding the new microsoft email as primary email in https://account.live.com/names/manage?refd=account.microsoft.com&refp=profile
But to be honest - it was a long way and i am not 100% sure if this is the correct fix for the problem, but it worked for the other user. |

I guess where I am getting confused is that I don't have a separate/different email address for my Microsoft account. I am using the one and only email I have.

The question is whether you signed in to Windows with your Microsoft account email address (ID) during installation. It's very likely you didn't, which is why it's not working. This means you probably currently have a local Microsoft account. You have two options to solve the problem: 1. Use your old, traditional Outlook. You should try uninstalling the "Outlook Connector." 2. To use the new Outlook, register your Windows installation with an Outlook account after installation. |
