[SOLVED] New phone: "No device attached to USB"

Hello,

I got a new phone, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14.

Syncing works over wifi, but not over USB: Even with "USB debugging" enabled in the "Developer options" section, adb doesn't list the device.

Should I download a ADB driver for that Xiaomi phone?

Edit: After plugging the phone, Device Manager lists it, and is happy with the default driver when I try to update it:

Edit: Installing the MediaTek driver and ADB driver didn't solve it.

What did solve it… is changing the "Default USB configuration" when plugging the phone from "File Transfert" to "No data transfer" per this thread: When plugging the phone, I finally saw the familiar "Allow USB debugging ?" prompt on the phone, and could successfully connect from the Windows application.
