using mpe desktop v2.3 portable on windows 11.
I can't work out how to export all mpe notes from mpe desktop at once to individual text files. if I select all notes in mpe desktop it exports all notes to one big single txt file.
I've got about 400 notes and I can't bear the thought of exporting each one at a time. is there a way to do this?
ps: I have been on google for quite a while with this but nothing works (so far)

Of course, however you need to use additional software to solve this strange task.neuronetv hat geschrieben:I've got about 400 notes and I can't bear the thought of exporting each one at a time. is there a way to do this?
Using another export format than text such as csv will export a file with separators between the individual notes.
If you have the required software, you can split the files into separate files following the description found here (Disclaimer: I did not try out):

yes I was thinking maybe a bash script might do the trick but I wanted to exhaust any easier way first. thankyou for the link but I'm a bit confused at that link - the script provided by 137289 - is that a bash script or a windows command thing or a powershell command? its not clear what kind of script it is.

As the article mentions powershell, I assume a powershell script. However I am not familiar with it, but maybe you need to get familiar with.neuronetv hat geschrieben:I'm a bit confused at that link - the script provided by 137289 - is that a bash script or a windows command thing or a powershell command? its not clear what kind of script it is.
