Can't get Bluetooth to work

Hi all,

Im having trouble connecting with bluetooth, get "Device not found". It works over USB. I've created a new COM port as client application like the FAQ says (COM8), but it still doesnt work.

What could be the problem here?

Hi johanp,

please check some things:
- is bluetooth "on" at your phone?
- is your phone "visible" in bluetooth settings? If not, switch your phone to "visible" for the first time. Once your computer has found the phone you can switch this option back.
- select "fast connect" - "serial port" from bluetooth trayicon and click on "other devices" (or something else like this in english).

If all works correct, your phone should be shown in the appearing dialog.
Select your phone from listbox and click on "connect".

Thanks. It was the "fast connect" step that I didnt know about.

It works fine now.
