I have to say I love myphoneexplorer but if my phone is connected and i back up my messages, the time and date on my phone goes crazy. It is kind of annoying because I always forget to disconnect my phone. Is there a fix to this or does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks |

Does it happen only if you upload messages to the phone or also if you just read out the messages ? Which phone-model do you use ? |

Same here !! I´m using my phone explorer 1.6.7 and SE K610i. Every time when I try to sync clock via the internet it offering me to change time and date somewhere to 1936 (Difference 2256994306 seconds ) !!
And never mind which internet server I use . Works ok only during pc clock sync.
Previous version was ok |

Your problem has absolutly nothing to do with the above one. Are you able to try the Clock-Sync on another PC ? |

Are you able to try it on another PC ? Is it possible that it depends on your Internet-Settings/Hardware (Router, Proxy,...) ? |

No proxy or something in this case?
Hm, very strange...
I don't know at the moment (can't have a look now), but maybe in the logfile is something which can help us? |

I have the same problem - all atomic servers return the time & date from 1936 or whatever it was. Maybe it's a bug in parsing the response from the NTP server that always outputs the same string as the "atomic time". |

The same here.
It was working correctly in previous versions though. The problem seems to be recently injected (a couple of months).
The "Sync phone clock via the Internet" window says:
----------------------
Time on phone:
6/30/2008 8:32:38PM
GMT +4 Summer time
Atomic time:
11/8/1938 4:15:08
GMT +4 Summer time
------------------------------
Some info:
MPEv1.6.7
Phone SE w580i
My phone is set to 24h format
My PC is set to AM/PM format
I've checked all available servers. They all show 1938.
BTW, it's shocking to find atomic clocks may differ by as much as 2 minutes!!!
And since this is my first posting,
A big thank you for the great program!

I rewrote now many things in the task of getting a timestamp from an NTP-Server. Please try it again with the beta. If you still have problems then post please the logfile
I'm waiting for your feedbacks. |
