hi
i use the keypad a lot at work.. here are some functions I'd love--
-the "my shortcuts" button so i can task switch to my phone applications (bet this would already be there if it was possible)
-some programmable 'macro' buttons, where i can recall a bunch of button pushes, for example to start the music player and open playlists
-a 'held return' button, like holding the 'back' button on the phone for 5 seconds
.... also can you access the phone clipboard directly? i often type long emails on on a message window, save it as a draft, then on the phone i copy the text from the draft to the browser email and send it. (can't use hotmail at work) .... a direct transfer to the phone clipboard would be ideal.
thanks, and sorry; i bet these have been mentioned. |

1) do you mean the "Multi task button"
2) macros will be not implemented cause there is no way to check what the phone has done with the commands
3) Hmm. basicly a good idea but how to implement it so that it does not disturb the windowinterface and everybody knows what is meaned ?
The phone-clipboard cannot be accessed |

Thanks a million for this great piece of software! I'd like to make a feature request, if I may:
I find it would be useful to choose the default phonebook used when sending an SMS. As someone who travels frequently, I have different phone numbers on different SIM cards (and those numbers are not stored on my phone). Since the default phonebook option is Phone, I find myself always having to change it to SIM when sending a message. Perhaps a dropdown box in the Options menu where I can choose the default phonebook (Phone or SIM) could do the trick.
Please let me know if I'm not being clear, and thanks again for a fantastic application! |

1 - yes, that's the one - next to the 'C' button on a k800i.
2 - that's ok in my opinion - once it's made clear you're only sending a sequence of button pushes, a user may be used to maybe starting with five 'back' button pushes, so the macro is more likely to
start from the standby screen. we have this with our broadcast vision mixers here at qvc- macros 'push' certain buttons for the operators, and if the buttons are toggle switches, it really matters what the starting condition was!
3 - maybe this is the same as five quick 'back' pushes above. no matter. it's easy enough to do that. i think the k850 has a button that goes straight to the standby screen - this is what i was really after.
as hurdaluva said, thanks again for the most awesome software, it runs my life! |

You can already select the storage in the phonebook if you want to add a recipient to a message. Besides this you could write the message directly out of "Contacts->SIM". |

I would like you to have support for tethering to the laptop for an internet connection. The OEM pc suite is really buggy and refuses to work half the time. If you could make this work I truly believe that your program will meet and exceed everyone standards. =) |

I haven't downloaded this software because when I read about it there is mention of Thunderbird, outlook and lotus notes only. I don't have any of these. My computer came pre installed with vista and when I first set up email it went into Windows livemail. I don't even have outlook at all.
Maybe I am wrong and live mail is supported but I am not going to add the burden to my already chocablock hard drive when I can't see any mention of it. I have been looking for a program that can sync SE with live mail for a year now. If you could ensure this capability is in this program I would download it in a shot. |

There is currently no sync-option for Live Mail. But its not essentially that you have a third-party program to sync. You can edit your data also in MPE without any PIM-Application |

FJ - thanks a million for this software, it's the best.
Is it possible to add the Monitor page as one of the options for the Start Page? It's the screen that I like to see the most.
Also, is it possible to change the way the Monitor page displays so that the info can grow with the size of the window OR be centred in the window, so that it isn't just hiding in the corner?
Thanks again

@armin333:
- recording calls: Not possible
- removing duplicated sms: Why do you need this - how you got duplicates in your phone ?
- backuprestore: Please update to v1.7, should work faster
- delivered-sign: Not possible
- fake the Sendernumber: Also not possible throught a normal phone. This would need direct access to a service-center
c0deine:
Monitor as startpage: Thios would need that your phone is always connected BEFORE you start MPE. i dont think it has sense
Monitor in Centerwindow: OK, i will implement it |

THANX A LOT FOR THE PROGRAMME.
I think it's very difficult but I discuss it :
Is it possible to do the conversations without the handset and use the computer's mic and speaker instead. |

Hi FJ from Russia! I'm very glad to see that changing notes are possible now, but I didn't find how to set a note visibility/unvisibility on the phone stand-by screen. If it isn'n implemented yet, please add the option to the next version! I'm a schoolboy, so I use notes almost every day. |

Thanks a lot for the new chat function . It is very, very useful!
I have a few wishes for it:
1) The possibility to just use Enter to send the message. Chat messages are usually quite short and rarely contain line breaks (neither do my long sms'es, by the way), so it would be nice not having to press Shift+Enter to send, but simply Enter. Then Shift+Enter (or Ctrl+Enter, see below) could be used to insert a line break into the message instead.
It could be an option whether you want Enter to insert a line break or send the message. Then Enter and Shift/Ctrl+Enter could swap according to what the user selected in the options.
2) A clearer immediate visual feedback for having pressed "Send message", apart som the "Send message" button being grayed out. Maybe the message in the input field could be grayed out or something? Or a status message ("Sending message" or so) could be shown? Or something?
3) Being able to use Ctrl+Enter instead of (or in addition to) Shift+Enter. Ctrl+Enter is the default in Outlook or Outlook Express to send a message, and probably also in other mail programs, so intuitively I press Ctrl+Enter when Enter does not work. It took me a while to figure out that I had to press Shift+Enter - this was counter-intuitive to me.
4) Ctrl+Backspace to delete last word. I use Ctrl+Backspace a lot to delete the last typed word or words, but in the chat input field this just inserts a rectangle character. Could it be connected to "delete last word" (including any spaces after it) instead? This is also the standard in most Windows programs.
5) A way to initiate a chat with someone without having to first find the contact in the contacts list or find an old message from the person. Maybe there could be a way to just open the chat window and in the chat window type one's way to the recipient, just as in the New message dialog? |

1) I can understand you point of view. But you know my opinion: i don't want to make a setting for each little thingy. Besides this a SMS coists money (in the most cases) so its better if the user uses the specialkey inaware that he reawant to send the message now.Just [Enter] can raise problems if you dot think of the hotke.
2) OK, in the next update i will gray out the Textfield
3) It will be also added in the next update
4) I will add it
5) I will look what i can do |

Now I noticed that a dialog box "Sending message" actually appears very briefly (a tenth of a second or so) when "Send message" has been pressed, but it is then pushed to the background for some reason, thereby being invisible. The result is that I cannot follow the progress of sending the message. |

It would be simply annoying to see this window every time when you are on chatting. Why its so important to follow the process of sending ? If the operation fails you get an errormessage - if not then the message was sent. |
