1) There is already an inbuild messagecounter in MPE
2) Makes no sense, cause i don't think that there are much users which have connected the phone 24 hours / 7 days |

Is it possible to add an Vista autorun option for MPE for a phone?

My company recently converted to gmail for company mail and calendar. Could MPE be modified to allow me to link to an https: address for my Google calendar?
The address format for my work calendar is shown below.
https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/my_companys_name.com
My personal calendar is at the standard gmail address:
http://www.google.com/calendar/
From my work calendar, I'm able to merge/view my personal calendar information. I can see all details on personal appointments From my personal calendar, I can see time blocks from my work calendar, but no other info is available. I presume this is a security setting by my corporate IT.
Thanks,

The address field on the phone is too small. In Google is big. When syncing, I always lose data. Could be an option to sync or not this field. |

Thanks for a great application, I'm using it for 3 years, since I got my W700. I am e great fan of sms and use to save them to Archive into folders named like (date) - (contact). But time goes on, number of folders grows, and I have to scroll down the menu for a long time, only to create a new folder. So I ask for little change: please set item "New folder" on the top of context menu. |

Any way we can send Chinese characters through MPE? When I do send, my friends see the SMS as ".................". When I receive Chinese SMS, the previous shows [] [] [] (squares) but I will be able to see the full SMS in Chinese when its not preview =D |

Hello all! First post
I see that many people ask for sent message timestamp but as you said it is impossible. Today I noticed that when you back up your Unified inbox with SE PC Suite for Smartphones (I have a W950) and then restore it on the phone the sent messages are shown with timestamp... So it would be nice if you could extract messages from SE PC Suite backup files and save them in MPE, or even better if you could extract all information in a .bm3 file (I don't know if the backup files are the same for non-smartphone phones). It would be a nice feature |

FJ,please insert into the program somehow the option to have the accurate times of messages visible;in term of that i don't have to insert the time of sent and received message by hand, that the program does this automatically by syncing the PC Archive.
Thanks

@TapsMan: Cause of another reason i tried already to disassemble a *.bm3-File - its near impossible. This files are doube protected *.zip-Files - with much work it was possible to decrypt the files from the backup, but the personal data are crypted with much more security.
@Bryan84: Chinse characters were always a problem in MPE cause MyPhoneExplorer is basicly not fully unicode-compatible. I tried long time to fix this issue but i'm afraid you have to live with it.
@Fr0sT: I cannot put "New folder" on top cause it destroys the common order in MPE. I could assign a keyboard-shortcut to this function - would this help ? By they way - you can use the filter Button to show messages only from a specified day/month/year so maybe in your case it doesn't make sense to create date-depending subfolders. |

It occurred to me yesterday that since MPE can read SMS from a phone and send SMS via the same phone, that it should in theory be possible to forward any SMS, using an automated routine within MPE. An SMS is received - MPE reads it - sends it as an SMS to another number, previously specified by the user. The cost of the SMS would naturally go on the user's phone bill as the phone is doing the sending/receiving - MPE would just do the forwarding part.
As you know, if you have to change phone numbers, you can set up forwarding for voice calls, but not SMS messages, and therefore important information sometimes goes astray. If MPE had this feature it could well become a 'killer app' instead of merely being wonderfully useful, simple and elegant... |
