MyPhoneExplorer works perfectly on my LG Optimus S (LS670).
The MyPhoneExplorer Android app (when run in conjunction with the MyPhoneExplorer PC tool available freely in the "Downloads" section of the FJ Software site), lets you synchronize between your PC and your Android phone either through:
1) A direct USB connection between your PC & phone.
2) A WiFi connection between your PC & phone. Note that in order to synchronize over WiFi, your Android phone must be connected (via WiFi) to the same network (LAN) as your PC. For example, typically your PC would be connected to your WiFi router either by Ethernet or by WiFi, and your Android phone would be connected to to that same router by WiFi.
MyPhoneExplorer will not syncrhonize with your PC over 3G because there is no reasonable way connect your PC (on a LAN) with your phone on a 3G network. (Though I guess at some point the FJ Software teams could implement such synchronization through a web server.)
The MyPhoneExplorer PC app can be dowloaded here...

I seriously doubt that. This would not only go with data costs (3G Traffic) for users, but also with great problems, e.g. privacy issues, on FJs side.RazzMaTazz hat geschrieben: (Though I guess at some point the FJ Software teams could implement such synchronization through a web server.)
Personally I think WIFI and USB is all you need. Maybe Bluetooth would be nice some day, but its not so easy to make that happen!
Have you tried the Android Guide and FAQ for MyPhoneExplorer?

Synch over 3G connection?
Yes, I have successfully synched my LG Optimus S using my 3G connection, just type in the IP given by the 3G connection on the phone and it should connect, not 100% of the time but I did get it to work at least 75% of the time on the first try.
