Dear developers,
First - great great work on the software! I've been using it for a while now, and i'm very happy.
I have a question concerning the files that are produced when exporting contacts or smses, or the files that are needed when importing contacts.
Is there a definition available for these files?
I want to be able to read these files and further parse them, or, the other way around, produce them and use them in MyPhoneExplorer. However, it would be useful to have a document so i know what to expect. Of course i can have a look in an exported file, see what it looks like, and deduce what the rules are, but this is not fool-proof.
Think, for example, about the date/time information. This comes out as 'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss'. But, is that because those are my local windows settings? Or are they always like this, independent of the machine MyPhoneExplorer runs on?
Think also about the language that MyPhoneExplorer is run in: the headers of the files that are produced when exporting information seem to be dependent on this - which, when this is the case, would actually really complicate things for my application, because it cannot recognise which field contains which info!
I hope you can help me along!
Thanks, and keep up the good work!
RUUD
PS: you can reply also in german; for me english is easier but i understand both. |

CSV-Export uses the current system time format. For SMS it uses the system seperator (for best compatibility with Excel) and for contacts always , is used (for best compatibility with Outlook) |

Alright, thanks!
How about the headers? Dependent on the language in which MyPhoneExplorer is used, correct? |
