Hi! Sorry for errors, but I'm still learning english 
I have a problem with MPE. Last year I have SE k800i telephone. I collect huge archive of messages and other informations from my mobile. I save it in backup in .mpb format. I sold k800i and actually I have Nokia E51 telephone.
The problem is, I can't read my backup! When I am trying to load it, program want to connect k800i, which I don't have.
I tryied also load archive from Messages -> Import, but in this case program freezes.
I'm in trouble. This archive of messages are very important for me. Is there any posibility to read this backup? Most importart are messages. The best solution will be i think export it to other, more usual format, CSV on example.
I can send this .mpb file to someone who could help mi with it! |

Hello.
You can view your messages offline in MPE, goto your message archive and mark the messages you want to export. To export them rightclick on that marked messages, choose "export" and select the format.

P.S.: You can't use MPE with your new Nokia, cause MPE supports SE- and Android devices only. |

But I have reinstall my Windows and MPE is empty. I has a backup in .mpb file, but I can't load it, because program want to plug a telephone... |

- Open MPE
- goto Message archive
- rightclick in list and select Export/Import > Import...
- open filetype and select "MyPhoneExplorer Backupfile (*.mpb)
- navigate to your backupfile and click ok

I can import only contacs (i choose contacts on the left bar, then click import and I localize the backup .mpb file) or calendar. It works well. But when I want to import messages, program freezes. Maybe it freeze because the archive is quite big... But when I have k800i and normally use MPE it works fine!
Maybe give me your emaila addres on PM and I send you the backup .mpb file? You will try on your machine. |

Which version of MyPhoneExplorer you are using ? If not 1.8.1 then update to this version. How many messages do you think the file has ?

I've got you file and i was able to import the file without problems. The file contained 30166 messages
