I'm still not getting the times for incoming messages. I have a w900 and it shows no indication for all received messages as well as for sent messages. Any ideas? |

PS. I just noticed in the FAQ that the time is set from the service center. Is it possible that the T-Mobile USA service center isn't sending the time/date info for incoming sms? It shows up on the phone like it does with sent SMS, but couldn't the phone be setting that? Just a thought... |

Select a received message>rightclick>properties>Press the Button ">>" and post the "PDU" of the message here, so i can look at the sourcecode of the message. |

Hi,
Im just beginning though and your app is far more advanced. But I looked at the document below and there is indication of the time the sms was sent.
ETSI TS 100 901 V7.4.0 (1999-12)
Technical Specification
Digital cellular telecommunications system (Phase 2+);
Technical realization of the Short Message Service (SMS);
(GSM 03.40 version 7.4.0 Release 1998)
see section in section 9.2.2.1 of the document:
Thanks again..

I looked at GSM 3.40 - section 9.2.2.1 handles the flags of a SMS-DELIVER. A delivered messages comes from Service-Center to phone (incoming), a SMS-SUBMIT goes from mobile to the service-center (outgoing). |
