Urgent help please

Hi every one

i have the mobile phone w810i and i am using it with my phone explorer (its the great software no doubt) ..yesterday my "SMSArchive.dat" file size sudently changed automatically (at that time electricity come and goes 2/3 times) ..

SMSArchive.dat was 4.5 mb now its just 79 kb Sad

and my all archive is not available in my computer Crying or Very sad

please help me experts .can i recover SMSArchive.dat from my harddisk via any software or some registry tweak

You can try some undelete utility, maybe it will help (R-Studio is quite good, and they offer time-limited demo), but I have doubts about that. If the file was just deleted, and the disk on which the file was was not touched since, you would have a chance. But if the file was truncated, and it is most probably on your system drive, where files change quite often, I doubt you will be able to resurrect anything. Wish you luck, and next time, do not forget about backups Smile

, especially if you have trouble with electricity. (Plain copy of the file to some other folder would help in this case, although generally I would recommend at least copying to some other disk, e.g. a flash drive).
