This is the 1st time I've used this software to backup my SMS/Call logs/history.
I've got a Galaxy S I9000 and simply wanted to backup before I flashed with the latest rom.
Everything flashed ok, and everything is correct & complete in the myphoneexplorer window, but when I told it to syncronise, it only copied my SMS's & not any call logs.
Also, all the SMS's have a timestamp of 04.31 (the time I sync'd) and if I look at one, the correct date appears next to the text, but it then goes to the very bottom of the (long) list below all the 04.31 texts as it thinks it's older!
Am I missing something obvious? |

Trying to understand if you have the same issue....
i've a SE Xperia Ray with 2.3.4
-Syncronized the cell.
-Flashed the cell (all sms were gone)
- copied all RECEIVED sms
- copied all SENT sms
- Syncr. again
Here is the big problem...
1. in MPE the conversations are rebuilt in the right way but in the cell i found the conversations with RECEIVED messages for first and SENT mess. for seconds... and ONLY ON THE PHONE the text mess. have the hour of the transfer (in MPE they still have their own date/time) evene after many syncr.
HOW TO FIX IT??? |

raybix, I'm not sure it's exactly the same as me, but the overriding issue of the timestamp on all the texts changing to the exact minute of the sync back to the phone IS the same as me. |

FJ can you help us??
In a software that sync the phone with PC is a bad issue if the conversations can not be rebuilt with the right timestamp. |

Take a look into the single messages on the phone. Is this timestamp OK and only the whole conversation timestamp is buggy ? |

You are correct in your quote...when you click and open each text, all dates/times are accurate within, it's just the date/time on the outside of the conversation that is defaulting to the date/time of the sync back to the phone.
As soon as you have opened a message and read it, the correct date/time is applied to the outside of the conversation and it goes naturally back to the correct date/time place in the list of texts.
I could manually open every single text one by one to fix this issue, but I've got hundreds! |
