Hello. I have changed my phone from SE Xperia 10 to HTC ONE X. Do I need to delete my previous file from MPE or just create another user and ignore the old file? I only want to sync the new phone with outlook, not import anything from the old MPE file. I have backed up the data from MPE on the computer for the old phone file.
Also if I delete the old user, will that remove items from my Outlook file or will they stay the same. Just opening MPE on the computer (not on the phone) yesterday transferred data to outlook. thank you Rhonda

As soon MyPhoneExplorer detects yur new phone he will create a new user profile with fresh settings and fresh database. You can delete the old profile throught Menu-File-Users-<user>-Delete profile. This will not affect Outlook in any case

Thank you.
Does MPE sync phone/computer, copying to the desktop MPE data as it goes, or does it copy the phone data to the desktop mpe and then sync that with computer data and independently sync outlook with the desktop mpe data?
When I opened MPE yesterday without connecting the old phone or syncing (not set to auto sync) it seemed to double up a number of appointments in Outlook.

I fugured out the problem of some of the duplicates. My new phones default was to sync to google so now the phone has contacts from google and contacts from the phone (downloaded from outlook when I started) I guess the same has happened with calendar appointments. I believe I have now shut off the google sync.
Thank you for the help, greatly apprecited.
