Transfering from phone to another one

Is it possible to use MPE to tranfer all my data (contacts, sms , calls in/out, ...) from my previous android sony phone to my new android LG phone ?

Thanks a lot.
But before i'll try it, i want to do my question more sharp.
My old phone is Sony XPERIA E with Android version 4.1.1
My new phone is LG - G2 winth android version 4.2.2

I know that MPE was developped at the begining for Sony Ericsson devices and that it is now used for other phones like Samsung, HTC, and others.

So, are you sure that the solution you proposed to me is reliable for my case. Do you know what can happen on the worse case ....
On others terms, It can make any damage ?

I know that MPE has been developed at the beginning for SE phones. But later, it was expanded for Android.
Therefore, I can speak only from my own experience. The transfer of data (SMS, contacts, calendar and call lists) through backup and restore worked for me.
