Locks up Windows Installer

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit. MPE connects to the phone, an HTC EVO 3D, OK. I then change the settings under "Sync" Contacts (or Calendar does the same thing) from "Only MyPhoneExplorer" to "Outlook 2000". Still OK. But then I press the "Advanced" button and a "Windows Installer" window opens that says "Preparing to install". And this window and MPE both lock up. The cancel buttons don't work and I have to kill MPE.

Any ideas?
