Hi,
I know that MPE does not have capability for recurring tasks (yet!), but I’ve noticed that the recurring tasks that I set up in Outlook 2007 on Windows 7 Home Premium and then sync and mark complete on my Motorola Photon with Android ver. 2.3.5 end up clearing out the series of recurring tasks in Outlook. So now, my recurring tasks stop showing up in Outlook and my phone because I marked it complete on my phone.
When I mark it complete in Outlook it operates as expected; i.e. today’s task in MPE is marked complete and a new task for next month is auto-magically created in MPE.
Without creating the recurring task functionality is there a way to add a ‘recurring task flag’ so that when MPE marks it complete at least it doesn’t close down the entire series of tasks in Outlook?
Let me know if there is something I can do on my end I would appreciate it. Thanks for providing MyPhoneExplorer.

Still same behavior. There has not been an update since Nov, so thought I would post a reply to hopefully keep it fresh.
The issue is caused in the library which MyPhoneExplorer does use for sync. The developer of the library knows about this issue and it should be fixed.
Inbetween you could switch back to the old Outlook interface:
- Start->Run->%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini->OK
- add a new line below [Main]: UseOutlookObjectModel=1
- save the file
Best regards FJ
