Message error \settings.dat can't be created

Hi there,

I've got this message error \settings.dat can't be created ("ne peut pas être créé" in french) when I select "Outlook 2007" and "Force Outlook to smartphone for "Contacts, Calendar or Notes.
It never happened before. I uninstall and reinstall the program (v 1.8.5) but it's still the same problem.

I've got an Galaxy S4 and Windows 7.

I hope some one nows the answer.

you do not have a profile where the settings are stored.
Because your computer your phone knows not yet.
Connect your phone to MPE (wireless or USB).
you can connect your mobile phone with MPE?
then try the settings again.
the error message should no longer appear then.

Thank you for your help. The problem is solved. This is what I did :
New window "There is no user profile. Connect MyPhoneExplorer to your smartphone et try again".
New window : New user. Please give a name for your smartphone (Galaxy S4 [User]). We recommand you to synchronize your smartphonee with MyPhoneExplorer. Do you want to synchronize now ? "Ok".

Nouvelle fenêtre : Il n'y a pas de profil actif. Connecter MyPhoneExplorer à votre téléphone et recommencez l'opération.
Nouvelle fenêtre : Nouvel utilisateur. Choisir un nom pour le téléphone suivant Samsung Galaxy S4 .... : (Galaxy S4 JMB). Il est recommandé de synchroniser votre téléphone avec MyPhoneExplorer. Voulez-vous le faire maintenant ? "Ok".
