fixing duplicate entries in notes after changes in ms office

I got all my outlook notes on my phone duplicated, see image:

Most notes are duplicated in My Phone (explorer), whereas in Outlook they are not:

I should be able to reproduce it, although i'm not in the mood. What i did to get to this was:
- update Outlook (from version 2003 to version 365, which version should have no significance). I have both versions of outlook on my computer, each of them in a different partition with a different windows 7 installation, so i can provide feedback on both.
- reuse the content of my old .pst file, created with Outlook 2003, with version 365. To do this i imported all the folders in the old pst to a new pst created with Outlook 365, precisely to avoid getting duplicate emails when downloading new ones. This might have had impact, as every new note item gets a different "internal id". I guess that if I had used the old pst, instead of importing items, i'd get to the same result.
- sync all Outlook 365 data to my phone using MPE.
surprisingly Calendar and Contacts do not get duplicated. Just notes.
I am unable to delete all duplicate notes from the PC, as I cannot see them on the computer. I can remove them by hand on my mobile, but i won't as long as i may provide some feedback to fix this bug. Is there any way to get a debug log on the phone?. Log files on my laptop do not show anything about these "missing notes".
