How to download MPE Notes ?

Beitrag von gonzales »

I have numerous notes in my MPE Notes on my PC and would like to download them as a simple text file. MPE Notes offers an option with a downward pointing arrow called "Download entire". When I click on it it seems to do something but nowhere can I find the download(s). What is downloaded and where to ?

I discovered that I can select the whole list of notes and right-click on the list offers an Export option but that downloads to a .vnt file which I can't open in any legible form. Is there no way to download a file in some kind of "traditional" text format, e.g. .txt or .doc ?

The notes are copied from the phone to the PC. So, if the notes on the PC were already up-to-date, nothing seems to happen.

With a closer look, you should recognize that the save dialog offers a file type selection, where you can select text (*.txt) for example.

Aaaargh ! Thank you for this instant response. Indeed I hadn't noticed that option in the Windows Save step ("With a closer look, you should recognize that the save dialog offers a file type selection, where you can select text (*.txt) for example.").
