hi all

do we know what MPE works with currently?

Presumably it's a combination of calendar source (e.g. MS outlook X), handset calendar software and the handset OS itself?

Just some examples, does MPE work with Sony xz1 compact, Samsung S8, Pixel 2, android Oreo, etc?

I am in the same situation: I want to push (sync) the call log from MPE to my phone.

Did you find why Syncing does nothing? Is it just one way path from phone to MPE?

Using MPE 1.8.6 nightly build (17 Sep 2015), in combination with Sony's new lollipop 5.1.1 firmware (23.4.A.1.200) seems to have resolved issue.

I can amend detail in a single appointment (e.g. add notes of what happened in that meeting), which was part of a recurring set of ...

I've now tried the 11 Sep 2015 debug version.

Again, exceptions to and remaining recurring appointments get written to main MPE client but don't update on phone local calendar.

Only way I can get them onto my phone is by wiping the calendar storage on phone and doing a clean sync.

There were problems with recurring appointments many moons ago but I thought they'd been fixed. To be fair, other apps trying to sync between Windows and Android also had issues along the same lines. But what I did then to get over the problem, and what I do still, is NOT to have recurring ...

I have now tried with the 1st September nightly build.

I have made another series of recurring appointments (with one appointment with some additional content i.e. an exception object).

These now seems to have reached the MPE desktop client.

However only the amended appointment syncs ...

2 quick questions regarding syncing to lollipop

I've just done a factory reset after upgrading my z3 compact from Sony stock android 4.4.4 to Sony's stock 5.0.2 build of lollipop.

2 issues:


1) I can't seem to get my MPE call log to replicate / restore / sync to my phone.

New call ...

Works for me. XP Pro with Outlook 2010 to Android 5 (and it worked on releases less than 5). Any contacts I have with 2 addresses get sync'ed correctly. Maybe the contacts app you use on the phone can't/doesn't display both?

Had an idea.

I'm syncing outlook 2010 on win 7 home premium 64 bit.

Don't know mate. Haven't heard of / tried aCalendar.
It makes sense when i say you should try a alternative to find the reason of the issue. So please try aCalendar, maybe its a calculating issue of your current calendar app.

Well the temporary fix, was to delete my google account, which then deleted all the contacts under the google account, and then I resynced, which fixed outlook.

and of course not to download my contacts into my google account.

This may be a feature request, but syncing contacts in the phone ...

... I think you need (touching on my first point) to decide on a master list for contacts, etc , and then always sync from there to the destination account. This should not prevent new or amended contacts from passing in both directions but it should 'protect' outlook a bit more (assuming you make ...
