Galaxy S II + Windows 7 Pro 64-bit works - however I (at least) needed to manually check the MyPhoneExplorer-COM port under services for my bluetooth device before it would work.

I use a laptop with Windows 7 and Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, Android version 2.3.4.
I have no problems with USB and wifi connections.
I can activate Bluetooth connection and it works. However, when I disconnect it and try to connect again the following error message is displayed by MyPhoneExplorer on my laptop: “Connection to phone could not be established? Could not open COM3!”.
If I uninstall the serial port, restart the laptop and mobile and install again a serial port, it works again but after disconnection the situation is same and the same error message is displayed.
Many thanks for an advice. |

Bluetooth on a DV7 Series laptop works fine with my work phone an HTC Desire with 2.2 running client 1.0.16 beta1 and the current beta desktop. Also works fine with my Samsung Galaxy Prevail with Gingerbread 2.3.5. |

Huawei Honor + Mobidick BDU33 dongle + MS stack on WinXP SP2 - works with one note: after pairing the device with PC, no BT COM port appeared, I had to add it manually via Bluetooth device properties > Services > Add > "MPE something" |

Asus Padfone with ICS 4.0.3 to Win XPSP3 desktops: no-name BT adapters, WinXP native and BlueSoleil BT stacks. Works well under both.
No connection issues except BluSoleil had to be forced to "discover" serial ports under device properties after pairing.
Ongoing connects/disconnects without an issue, although minor issue on handset of MPE not automaticlly starting when a paired BT machine is detected.
No problems connecting via WiFi in either case. |

Sony XPERIA Z - bluetooth works (I had my share of problems, but it started to work anyway)
Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I can't figure out why. |
